What is Salvation

Salvation means being rescued from sin and the consequence of eternal separation from God. It is a free gift from God that we can accept by simply believing in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Through Jesus Christ, God offers you forgiveness and eternal life, not because of what you've done but because of what Jesus has already done for you.

We all do.

How to Be Saved Biblically

1. Repentance

Acts 2:38: "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" Recognizing and turning away from sin is essential.

2. Faith in Jesus Christ

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Believing in Jesus as the Son of God who died for our sins and was resurrected.

3. Confession of Faith

Romans 10:9: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Openly acknowledging Jesus as Lord.

Then What?

1. Baptism

Mark 16:16: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." Symbolizes the washing away of sin and rebirth into new life.

2. Living a Christ-Centered Life

Ephesians 2:8-10: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Following Jesus' teachings and striving to live in a way that honors Him.

3. Endurance

Matthew 24:13: "But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." Persevering in faith despite challenges.
